We were there on 5 Jan 10 at 9.00pm trying to get a pair of tickets to watch the much talk-about Avatar. There was one counter open to serve the premier queue and another for the walk-in. The queue for the walk-in wasn’t exactly long and we noticed the premier counter was also helping out whenever his line was free but it still took us 15 minutes to reach the counter and being attended by a totally clueless staff who kept repeating every question more than twice, thus prolonging every transaction :(

Before you enter the queue line they provide a TV so you can tell which movie, timing, and available seats, so you wont need to queue or disturb a queue to make sure all of the details. For me it's a great idea, knowing that during weekend the queue can be quite a bunch with families, teens and couples. Inside the theater is not much of a difference with the chairs, setting and screen. But as long as I remember the staff from the front line is prompt and give a fast service but still nice, in a sense that they greet us, served us well during seats selection and said 'enjoy your movie' in the end of the conversation with a glimpse of a smile.

The best cinema in Singapore!The sound effect is good,the images are clear and they serve the best snack ever.Their snacks were cheap and delicious.Imagine eating delicious snack while enjoying good movies.Wouldn’t it be great?Price of the tickets are quite reasonable as an adult ticket is only sold at $7.50.During the weekends an adult ticket is only priced at $10.It has a big screen that is one of the widest screens in Asia(22.4metres)found in GV max.I like the seats of the cinema.It is comfortable and there is a drink holder for you to put you drinks so that we won't have to hold on to it throughout the movie.The air-conditioner is always cool and relaxing which I love the most.There are all together 9 Gv cinemas here;GV VivoCity,GV Grand,GV Plaza,GV Marina,GV Bishan,GV Tampines,GV Jurong Point,GV Yishun,GV Tiong Bahru.I hope more people will go to GV to watch movies as it is a better place then any other cinemas.
